Hello. I have a 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570. Bought it used and everything seems perfect on it except starting. Half the time I go to start it the engine attempts to turn over but doesn’t. If the pump doesn't run for about 3 seconds when you cycle the key on, then you need to find out why. Sometimes it's just a faulty relay or a bad connection. If you do then you know your ignition is working. If you do have a spark then pour some gas down the cylander and put back plug and see if it fires. Well to be totally fair, using a pressure washer is OK, as long as you keep the pressure down to about 500 to 750 psi - over 800 psi and getting within 3 inches of certain things will cause problems. Other option is to remove the entire clutch and housing but that is a ton of work and many members here have changed the starter without doing that.
