Problem with the cannon. In order to get the cannon you have to swim back to your base, and then the Aurora despawns, and the seamoth falls. I don't know if it will get stuck in the aurora like the seamoth does in the island, but I don't know, maybe my argument isn't valid here. It is on the islands though.

the aurora is going to be a problem if it is stuck on there. the good news is that the seamoth is pretty cheap overall. i try to have one dedicated seamoth at every base. and one that roams between them.Here's what I found out: you can't use the repulsion cannon on the Seamoth. It will not move. However you can use the repulsion cannon to move things which will move the Seamoth. So find something large and moveable nearby and use that to push it back into the water.
